VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Cairn University men's volleyball team had five players earn All-Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honors, announced by the conference office on Tuesday. The team, composed of players from all seven CSAC institutions that sponsor men's volleyball, was voted upon by the coaches in the league.

Cairn's All-CSAC honorees were headlined by freshman outside hitter Moses Gamble (Rocklin, CA / Rocklin), who was named to the All-CSAC First Team, one of just two freshman hitters on the All-CSAC First Team. Three Highlanders earned All-CSAC Second Team recognition, senior outside hitter Caleb Horning (Adamstown, PA / Cocalico), senior libero Josh Moyer (Quakertown, PA / Quakertown Community) and freshman setter Josh Adler (Levittown, PA / Neshaminy). Rounding out Cairn's All-CSAC recipients was senior middle blocker Joshua Hoagland (Chiang Rai, Thailand / Chiang Rai International Christian School), who was selected as an Honorable Mention. Senior setter Shea Scott (Harleysville, PA / Souderton) was Cairn's representative on the CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Gamble, one of just two freshman hitters on the All-CSAC First Team, paced the Cairn offense in his inaugural season with a team-high 135 kills at a .245 hitting percentage. Gamble's .54 aces per set were the most among CSAC counterparts, and his 3.29 kills per set ranked second in the conference. Gamble's 3.95 points per set also was second in the CSAC ranks.

Horning, the 2022 CSAC Player of the Year, earned his third-straight All-CSAC honor after placing second on the team with 114 total kills and 2.19 kills per set. Horning tied Gamble for second on the team in digs with 76 total.

Moyer, a two-time CSAC Defensive Player of the Year, also earned his third-straight all-conference accolade after leading the Highlanders back two to the tune of a team-high 136 digs and 2.96 digs per set. Moyer finished with double-digit digs in six separate matches this season, and his digs per set mark topped the CSAC ranks.

Adler shined in his first year with the Highlanders, handing out a team-high 329 total assists and topped the entire conference with 9.14 assists per set. Adler handed out a season-high 52 assists in Cairn's 3-1 victory over Eastern back in March, the first 50-assist performance since 2018.

Hoagland earns his first all-conference honor after posting 98 kills and finishing second in the conference with a .317 hitting percentage. Hoagland added 24 total blocks and contributed to 130 points on the season, the third-highest mark on the team.
