GREENWOOD, IN – College Sports Communicators released the 2025-26 Academic All-District® teams for Women's Volleyball on Tuesday, with a four Highlanders recognized.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Sophomore middle Maddie Shackelford (Warrington, PA / Plumstead Christian), junior setter Anna Dow (Syracuse, NY / Faith Heritage), junior middle Georgianna Thorpe (Southampton, PA / William Tennent), and sophomore libero Liliana Magazzu (Reading, PA / Exeter) were all recognized for their accomplishments on both the court and in the classroom. This is Thorpe's second year on the Academic All-District teams.
  
To be nominated for the Academic All-America® program, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, be an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or graduate student-athlete with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. Additional information about community service and academics is considered for the selection of Academic All-America® Finalists once Academic All-District® is selected.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
