Langhorne, PA - Cairn Takes both games of Double-header with Lehman. 

Game 1:
Cairn (3-9 / 0-0 UNITED EAST) controlled the game from the first pitch, retiring the first 3 Lehman (1-6 ) batters in order. In the bottom of the first the Highlanders strung together multiple hits including a pair of RBI doubles by sophomores Riley Curtis (Newark, DE / Odessa) and Korina Feliciano (Cherry Hill, NJ / Cherry Hill West). By the end of the first inning the Highlanders had a 4-0 lead. The bottom of the 2nd saw Cairn tack on another 8 runs on 8 hits 1 error by Lehman and 4 stolen bases. The Highlanders continued padding their lead in the 3rd and 4th innings before the game ended after 4.5 innings due to the mercy rule with a final score of 16-1. 

Game 2:
In game 2 the Highlanders once again jumped out to an early lead scoring a run in the bottom of the first on a single by Curtis. The Lightning responded scoring a run in each of the 2nd and 3rd innings. Cairn answered back by piling on 8 runs between the 3rd and 4th innings fueled by sophomore infielder Aerynne Mays (Easton, PA / Penn State Brandywine) who recorded 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored across those 2 innings for the Highlanders. Cairn rode the momentum from this lead and won the gam 10-4.
