Wilkes-Barre, PA - Highlanders fall Short Against King's College. 

Cairn (1-27 / 0-8 UNITED EAST) got a lead off single from junior second baseman AJ Ramirez (Manchester, New Jersey / Elmira College) but failed to capitalize and were held scoreless. King's College (6-19 / 1-14 MAC) put their first two runners on but also failed to push a run across the plate. King's scored 2 runs over the next 2 innings while holding the Highlanders scoreless. In the top of the 4th inning freshman catcher Noah Steigleman (York, PA / West York Area Highschool) drove a single to right field scoring teammate Matthew Urena (Hialeah, FL / Everglades HS) from third. Dylan Ferriera (Merced, CA / Merced High School) came from the Highlander bullpen and delivered 5 innings of work for Cairn striking out 2 batters and only allowing 1 run. The Highlanders bats were stifled for the remainder of the game and they failed to sore any more runs. After tacking on some late damage King's College won 6-1 over the Highlanders.
