8 Highlanders reach all-conference teams

FF: 8 Highlanders Earn All-Conference Honors

Latham, NY - Cairn lands 8 players on All-Conference Teams.

Dezaray Bright (Keystone Heights, FL / Keystone Heights) earned first team honors for the Highlanders as a quarterback. Bright started all 10 games under center for Cairn. Bright completed 189/332 passes this season, good for a 56.93% completion percentage. Over the course of the season Bright passed for 1890 yards, averaging 189 yards per game and 19 touchdowns through the air.

Clara Tylavsky (Des Moines, IA / Saydel) was selected to the All-Conference second team as an offensive player. Through 9 games played for the Highlanders Tylavsky collected 45 receptions and 424 receiving yards good for 47.11 yards per game and 5 touchdowns. Tylavsky also added on 18 rushing yards on 6 carries. 

Kathryn Morrill (Bergen, NY / Homeschool) was also selected to the second team as an offensive player. Morrill brought in 47 receptions for 411 yards and scored 3 touchdowns.  Morrill averaged 41.10 yards per game. Morill also served as the team's punter for the second half of the season nd averaged over 30 yards per punt including a season long 46 yard punt. 

Olivia Logan (Cherry Hill, NJ / King's Christian) was the final Highlander selected as an offensive player. Logan brought in 27 receptions for 199 yards and 2 touchdowns. Logan also scored a touchdown on a punt return. The Highlight of Logan's season was an 80 yard performance against Penn State Harrisburg. 

Juliana Condurso (Brick, NJ / Calvary Academy) was the first of 4 Highlanders to be selected to the All-Conference second team as a defensive player. In only 7 games played Condurso collected 23 flag-pulls, including 13 tackles-for-loss. Condurso also recorded 10 sacks and broke up 2 passes. 

Abigail Stange (East Earl, PA / Homeschooled) also earned second team All-Conference honors as a defensive player. Stange recorded 26 flag-pulls for the Cairn defense including 3.5 tackles for loss. Stange also paced the Highlanders with 7 interceptions and broke up 4 more passes. 

Emma Lowe (New Cumberland, PA / West Shore Christian Academy) led the Highlanders with 46 flag-pulls in 9 games in her All-Conference second team campaign. Lowe also recorded 2 TFLs and broke up 2 passes. 

Olivia Veltre (Telford, PA/  Dock Mennonite Academy) recorded 29 flag-pulls for the Highlanders including 4 tackles behind the line-of-scrimmage. Veltre also brought down an interception and broke up 2 additional passes.
