Langhorne, PA – August's Highlander Highlight: Juliana Condurso

The Highlander Highlight is a monthly initiative created to recognize the various ways student athletes at Cairn University are serving God. This Month's Highlander Highlight is focused on Juliana Condurso.

Condurso is a junior Christian Studies major on both the Women's Soccer and Flag Football teams, from Brick, NJ. Across her two seasons playing for the women's soccer team Condurso has recorded 9 goals and 5 assists, good for 23 points.

As a member of the flag football team in the 2026 season, Condurso was named to the United East All-Conference second team as defensive player. In only 7 games played Condurso collected 23 flag-pulls, including 13 tackles-for-loss. Condurso also recorded 10 sacks and broke up 2 passes. She also served as the Highlander's primary running-back on offense, recording 364 yards from scrimmage and 3 touchdowns, including a game-winning score in Cairn's win over Cedar Crest.
 
Condurso volunteers closely with Athletes in Action, a sports ministry organization based out of Xenia Ohio, that uses the platform of sports to build connections with people all over the world. Condurso has traveled to places including New York, Florida, Ohio, and Mexico for conferences with Athletes in Action. At these conferences she is equipped to run soccer camps for communities and to share the gospel. "I believe sports is the universal language, so it's been really amazing to see the Lord work through athletics!" Condurso explained. This summer Juliana is working at soccer camps in New Jersey as a head coach, she is also mentoring some of the younger staff members and helping to train them to eventually lead groups. In the first week of August Condurso will be returning to Peekskill, NY for the third year of running a softball camp in the mornings and a soccer camp at night for a community in need of the gospel. Each year Condurso sees many of the same kids and gets to build a personal relationship with them. Juliana shared "It is more than a blessing to have these relationships even if it's just for a week a year and get to make an impact on these kids' lives!". Following her graduation Condurso looks forward to joining the Athletes in Action organization in a full-time position.

Condurso and the Highlander's women's soccer team return to action with their first game on September 1^st.
